March Meeting – Line Dancing

Our exciting March meeting was led by Sue from Sioux Tribe Line Dancers, who got our ladies moving with her dance moves.

We began with Sue giving us comprehensive and practical instructions without music, and then after practising several run-throughs the ladies stepped up when the music was added and did a truly fantastic job. More than half of our ladies came dressed for the part, with their checked shirts and cowboy boots. Everyone soon got into the swing of it and the dancing flowed – Yee Haw!

There were some ladies who were happy to sit on the side lines and observe but still enjoyed their evening watching the dancers. Overall, a very energetic and enjoyable evening with the ladies leaving with wide smiles and full of happy vibes. We had a good turnout – it proved to be a popular session.

We had refreshments before the dancing, with hot and cold drinks and the option to indulge in a piece of Red Velvet cake, homemade by Shirley.

Next Meeting

Next month’s meeting is on Thursday 10th April, and will be a Taskmaster style games evening. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun, including guests.
